A unique clay that, once baked, will shine with a brilliant rainbow of colour, reminiscent of real opal. Used by itself or mixed with pearlescent colours, Opal opens a whole new world of creative possibility.

Due to the large volume of opalescent flakes in the Opal Premo Clay, it may appear harder to condition than other clays. The apparent dryness compared to basic colours is not a fault, but characteristic of how it's intended to be used.

If you'd prefer it to be softer, you may like to add a couple of drops of Liquid Clay Softener or a pinch of Solid Clay Softener to aid in conditioning. A softener is an absolutely essential item in your kit and one thing all clay artists need on hand.
